SUPER CAR DELIVERY – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
1. Definitions
“Company” refers to Supercar Delivery.
“Customer” refers to the person or entity booking transport services.
“Vehicle” refers to any vehicle entrusted to the Company for transport.
“Carrier” refers to the Company or any subcontracted transporter appointed by the Company.
2. Services Provided
The Company provides vehicle transport logistics and coordination services within the UK and internationally. Movements may be carried out either by the Company’s own vehicles or by approved subcontracted carriers.
3. Quotations & Bookings
All quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on information supplied by the Customer. Any change to collection/delivery location, vehicle condition, dimensions, or timing may result in a revised quotation.
Bookings are only confirmed once accepted by the Company and may require a deposit or full payment in advance.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be confirmed at time of booking. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- UK jobs must be paid prior to delivery.
- International jobs must be paid prior to collection.
Late payment may result in storage charges, withholding of vehicle release, or cancellation of services.
5. Vehicle Condition & Preparation
The Customer must ensure the vehicle:
- is roadworthy unless declared otherwise
- has operational steering and brakes
- has no excessive fluid leaks
- has sufficient fuel for loading/unloading
Any existing damage must be declared before transport. The Company accepts no responsibility for undeclared pre-existing damage.
6. Liability & Insurance
Unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to transport, the Company’s liability for loss or damage is limited to:
£250,000 per vehicle
Vehicles valued above this amount must be declared before booking so additional insurance cover can be arranged if required. Any additional premium must be paid prior to collection.
In the absence of written agreement for enhanced cover, the standard liability limit applies regardless of the vehicle’s actual or stated value.
The Company does not accept unlimited liability under any circumstances.
7. Insurance Cover
Transported vehicles are covered under the relevant carrier’s Goods in Transit insurance policy subject to policy terms, exclusions, and limits. Insurance applies only during the period of transport.
The Company may, upon request, arrange increased cover levels. Additional premiums must be paid before transport commences.
8. Subcontracting
The Company reserves the right to subcontract transport to vetted and approved carriers. Subcontracted carriers operate under their own insurance policies and transport conditions. The Company acts as a transport coordinator where subcontractors are used.
9. Delivery & Timescales
Collection and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed as fixed in writing. The Company is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to:
- traffic delays
- weather conditions
- mechanical issues
- port or customs delays
- force majeure events
10. Customs & International Movements
For international transport, the Company can arrange customs documentation and clearance services where requested.
Any duties, taxes, VAT, import fees, or government charges are the responsibility of the Customer and must be paid in advance of clearance where applicable.
11. Damage Claims Procedure
Any claim for damage must:
- be noted at delivery
- be supported by photographs
- be reported within 24 hours of delivery
Failure to report within this timeframe may invalidate any claim.
The Company is not liable for:
- mechanical faults
- electrical faults
- alarm issues
- battery failure
- tyre pressure loss
- fluid leaks
- convertible roof faults
- suspension faults
unless caused directly by proven negligence during transport.
12. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing. The Company reserves the right to charge reasonable cancellation fees if a vehicle has already been scheduled, dispatched, or assigned to a carrier.
13. Storage Charges
If a vehicle cannot be delivered due to Customer unavailability or incorrect information, storage and redelivery charges may apply.
14. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer confirms they:
- have authority to instruct transport
- have permission from the vehicle owner
- have declared accurate vehicle details
- have disclosed vehicle value if above standard liability limit
15. Prohibited Items
No personal goods, valuables, or loose items should be left inside the vehicle. The Company accepts no liability for any contents left inside.
16. Right of Refusal
The Company reserves the right to refuse transport if a vehicle is unsafe, misdescribed, overloaded with goods, or poses risk to equipment or personnel.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
18. Acceptance of Terms
Booking transport with the Company constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.
